Multi-vehicle collision on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road

A multiple vehicle collision reported on Sheikh Zayed Road was causing lengthy delays to journey at around 10am, opposite La Perle on the Dubai Canal bridge in the direction of Jebel Ali.

Heavy traffic on the road is beginning to clear, although there are still delays as recovery services operate in the area.

Earlier, congestion was reported on the E44 Ras Al Khor Road heading into Business Bay in Dubai just after the E311 interchange but the roads were otherwise calm as a result of the school holidays.

New traffic lights on Hessa Street at the junction of the recently opened Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street (D54) were also causing slight delays for motorists.
