Move over Lamborghini - Dubai Police add a Ferrari FF to fleet

Dubai Police have tweeted pictures of another supercar addition to their fleet today - a Ferrari FF.
It comes just a week after Dubai Police revealed on April 10 they would be adding a Dh1.5 million Lamborghini Aventador to their fleet.
The authorities tweeted on April 14 that people should expect a Ferrari police car was about to be announced.
"Soon Ferrari will join Dubai Police fleet," said Dubai Police chief, Lt General Dhahi Khalfan, in the twitter message.
The images released this morning reveal the Ferrari FF, which has a V12 engine, making it go from 0 to 100kph in 3.7 seconds.
This makes it a little slower than the Lamborghini Aventador, which can reach 100kph in 2.9 seconds.
A police spokesman said last week that the Aventador was "specially modified in terms of power, speed and resilience. Its body and chassis are specially modified as well".
The city's police are not the first force to add supercars to its fleet. In 2004, the Italian Carabinieri was given a Gallardo, and it was used in police chases and to transplant organs.
Unfortunately, in 2009 officers crashed and wrote off the car.
Belgium's police have a Gallardo and a Porsche 911, although both have been used solely for promotional purposes.
