A mother and daughter died in a car accident at Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah on Friday.
The Pakistani 27-year-old and her two-year-old girl were taken to Saqr Hospital at 4.30pm on the first day of Eid Al Adha.
The daughter died on the same day while the mother was admitted to the surgical department for further care.
She succumbed to her injuries on Monday.
Some 253 accidents occurred on RAK roads during Eid Al Adha and 651 fines were issued in the same period.
"426 of the traffic offences were captured by speed cameras and 225 by police patrol," said Brig Dr Mohammed Al Humaidi, director-general of the central operations room for RAK Police.
He said police received 4,655 calls during the holiday.
Brig Dr Al Humaidi urged motorists to adhere to all traffic rules, and to avoid speeding and reckless driving.
