DUBAI // A man who asked the father of a woman he molested to beat him up instead of calling the police has been locked up for three months.
Egyptian N A, 18, was with her family near the Dubai Fountain on October 24 last year when she felt a hand on her thigh.
She turned to see Indian M S, 54, standing behind her. His hand was on her thigh but she thought it was a mistake.
“Seconds later he did it again, so I screamed at him. He tried to escape but I chased and caught him by his shirt while my father was right behind me,” N A said.
“He started asking my father to beat him up instead of handing him to police.”
The father called security and police.
M S denied intentionally touching N A during prosecution interrogations. He was not present in court to enter a plea. He will be deported after completing his sentence.
