Two Asian men suffered minor injuries when they were attacked by a bull on Monday on Kalba beach in Fujairah.
The bull fled in to the sea, where it remained for five hours.
It caused a stir among onlookers who gathered to watch attempts to rescue the animal from the Gulf of Oman.
Kalba hospital said the men’s injuries were superficial, and they were released after treatment.
The police, aided by residents, dragged the bull out of the water using ropes.
