Two men who ran a dental clinic from an apartment and advertised procedures on Facebook have been arrested.
The pair were caught when police sent in an undercover officer posing as a patient.
The officer that caught the men booked an appointment through the clinic's Facebook page.
A team from the ministry of health waited outside for his signal.
“When the signal came, the team raided the flat and found it to be fully equipped for dental procedures," said Major Mohammed Al Ghafli, director of CID at Ajman Police.
Police seized medication stored there along with equipment.
"Whenever the men received patients, they would lock the door to the flat," said Major Al Ghafli.

Police did not identify the men but said one was Arab and one European.
“Both men turned out to be illegal residents," Maj Al Ghafli said. "Their visas expired a long time ago and they each had a criminal record too."
He did not say what their previous crimes were but said that men had a licence until a year ago but that it had expired.
He said it did not meet health and safety requirements.
Both suspects have been referred to public prosecutors.
