DUBAI // A man accused of raping a woman who replied to a bogus job advertisement will appear at the Criminal Court soon, according to the Public Prosecution.
Prosecutors claim that MS, a 31-year-old Arab national, told the Iranian woman to meet him at a shopping mall car park to hand over documents so that he could employ her. They say he came up with the plan after meeting the woman on an online social network.
But when she showed up to the meeting, prosecutors say he pulled her into his car, took her to a remote area and raped her inside the vehicle.
He will be charged with rape and kidnap.
