DUBAI // A Pakistani man jailed for three months for molesting a British tourist at Dubai International Airport has had his sentence upheld.

A A, 26, told the Criminal Court she was in terminal 3 at around 10.30pm on November 2 last year after arriving on a flight from Glasgow when she saw S K, 24.

“I asked him where the arrivals area was and he said I should take the lift. When I took the lift he jumped in,” said A A.

She said A A asked if she was married and when she said no he tried to hug her then touched her breast.

“I pushed him away and as the lift opened I ran out and headed to a police officer and reported him,” A A said.

S K confessed to sexual assault at a hearing last month. The Dubai Appeals Court upheld the sentence.

He will be deported after completing his jail term.
