It was a happy Valentine’s Day for one couple at the Expo 2020 site following a surprise marriage proposal.
A video, shared by the Expo team on social media, shows Chirag Lakhiani and his now-fiancee Kritika Ramchandani, becoming the first couple to get engaged at the expo site.
“Something very exciting happened at Expo 2020,” the video said.
“We helped make a visitor’s birthday extra special. He proposed and she said yes!”
The video went on to show the delighted couple embracing and being cheered on by family and friends, who were in on the big surprise.
