A man who stabbed his rapist to death was arrested as he attempted to flee the UAE, Dubai Criminal Court heard on Sunday.

The Pakistani accused, 20, killed his compatriot — whose age was not disclosed in court records — after the man tried to coerce him into having sex with him again.

The body was found in a warehouse in Al Quoz on August 25 by a third man, who called police.

"I noticed blood leaking from a blanket and, when I drew closer, I found a man lying in a pool of blood," the man told the court.
Police found bloodstained clothes and a knife in a rubbish bin nearby. Forensic testing led police to the accused, who was arrested at the UAE border the next day.
During police questioning the accused said the victim blackmailed him into having sex with him.

“We are related and around 20 days before the incident, he forced me into having sex with him and threatened to defame me among my family,” he told officers.

He said the man called him on the day of the murder and asked to meet in the abandoned warehouse.
When he arrived, at around 12.30pm, the man tried to have sex with him.
"I had taken a small knife with me and hid it in my pocket. When he hugged me, and tried to throw me to the floor, I stabbed him in the back," the accused said.
He stabbed him 12 times — in the back, chest, neck and abdomen.

He changed his clothes and disposed of the evidence in a bin before hailing a taxi to Sharjah.

He paid a man Dh2,000 to help him leave the country by crossing into Oman from Al Ain but was arrested before he could escape.
In court on Sunday, the accused denied a charge of premeditated murder.
The next hearing is scheduled for December 31.
