DUBAI // Police arrested a man on suspicion of robbery and found drugs in his pocket, a court heard.
MB, 32, from Iran, was arrested on April 14 this year and taken into custody at the Rafaa Police Station.
When his belongings were confiscated, police found a methadone tablet in his pocket, prosecutors told the Criminal Court.
A test found traces of the drug in his system and he was charged with possessing and consuming drugs.
He did not appear in court to enter a plea.
The next hearing was scheduled for December 17.
