A man died after being crushed in a car accident on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street in on Thursday morning.
The accident happened in Umm Al Quwain as the man was travelling towards Ras Al Khaimah.
Civil Defence cut the motorist - of Asian origin - out of his vehicle using heavy machinery after the accident caused his car to flip.
He was taken to Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Umm Al Quwain where he was pronounced dead
What caused the accident and whether or not another vehicle was involved is unclear.
