ABU DHABI // A man from Bangladesh has appeared in court charged with sexually harassing an eight-year-old girl.
When asked about the charge at the Criminal Court on Wednesday, the man began reciting classical Arabic poetry about pardoning, accusations and punishment before confessing to touching the child.
“I only touched her parts, from the front and the back, but did not do anything,” he said.
“I did it around two or three times.”
The case was adjourned until next Wednesday.
