DUBAI// A 20-year-old man who was accused of molesting and attempting to rape his family’s maid was acquitted by the Dubai Criminal Court on Sunday.
Prosecutors alleged that on November 15 last year, Emirati K A walked into the room where the maid was working, removed a towel he was wearing and hugged the Indonesian woman against her will.
The maid claimed that he started kissing her and telling her he loved her and wanted her to love him back.
“He tried to rape me but I fought back and bit him three times on his hand before he got up to wash himself,” she said.
K A was found not guilty of the charges.

Louisiana Purchase
If Donald Trump is one who aims to broker "a deal of the century", then this was the "deal of the 19th Century". In 1803, the US nearly doubled in size when it bought 2,140,000 square kilometres from France for $15 million.
Florida Purchase Treaty
