The construction of a new car park deck at Mall of the Emirates will create an additional 8,000 spaces for visitors by the end of next year.
Large structural pillars have been erected to support the mall’s multiple levels, ensuring added stability in case of ground movement caused by earthquakes.
The mall will from now until the end of this year open up parts of its car park on the ground floor and upper levels.
In the meantime, visitors are advised to park on level 3.
By mid-2015, the mall will have a new car park deck, with 1,300 new spaces.
