DUBAI // A man sexually assaulted two maids he hired to clean his house, Dubai Criminal Court heard.
The 50-year-old Iranian accountant hired the Filipinas to clean his home in Al Nahda for three hours last August.
“We arrived at 3pm and divided the work, I took the bedrooms and she took the kitchen. Ten minutes later she came to me and told me to be careful because the customer had touched her,” said one of the maids, 24.
She said that a few minutes later, the defendant came to the room she was cleaning and touched her behind several times before doing the same to her colleague.
“He started talking to me about doing an excellent job then placed his hand on my back before he suddenly touched the lower part of my body,” said the other maid, 29.
The women reported the incident at Al Qusais police station.
The defendant denied a sex assault charge when he appeared in court.
The next hearing will be on December 8.
