Maid 'stole employer's birth control pills' in Dubai

A maid was reported to police for having an affair after her sponsor noticed her birth control pills were missing.

DUBAI // A maid was reported to police for having an illicit affair after her sponsor noticed her birth control pills were missing, a court heard this week.
ZD, 41, an Emirati production manager, became suspicious of the maid RP, 29, a Filipina, and went through her mobile phone, only to discover pornographic images of the worker.
"I asked her what she had done with the pills, she said she used all of them," said the sponsor, who said the maid had also been using her make-up. She said she first noticed the maid's behaviour had changed.
"She started neglecting her duties and would often leave the house," said the sponsor, who was informed by her children that the maid was meeting a strange man.
She took the maid to the police station, where the maid confessed to having an affair with AA, 38, an Egyptian. The maid said she would have sex with the man on the back seat of his car.
The Egyptian was then called to the station and admitted to the affair. He said he met the maid in November last year while building a villa near her sponsor's home. He handed the maid a piece of paper with his phone number on it while she was cleaning her sponsor's car.
"Then we started meeting, I would pass by in my car in the early morning or late night hours and pick her up, we then would have sex in my car before driving her back," he said.
At the Misdemeanours Court the Egyptian admitted a charge of sex out of wedlock while the maid did not appear.
The next hearing was scheduled for May 15 to summon the maid, who is in custody.
