Runners from 75 countries are to carry a message as they take part in the third Loyalty to the Leader marathon. The message was signed yesterday by the Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mua’lla.
Held with the support of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the run will begin on Sunday, December 22. from the Ruler’s Representative Court of the Eastern Region, state news agency Wam said. It will see those participating head to Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Sharjah and Dubai, before ending in the capital on December 24. The runners plan to arrive in Abu Dhabi before noon.
