The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation is preparing for the implementation of its iftar project, which will provide almost two million meals for the eighth consecutive year.
The meals will be distributed throughout Ramadan in 105 different places across the country. Hundreds of thousands of food parcels will also be sent abroad.
Mohammed Al Khouri, director general of the foundation, said that the project was following the teachings of Islam, which call for cooperation, compassion and affection.
