The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF) has concluded its relief campaign in Iraq’s Kurdistan region, which continued for several days, state news agency Wam reported.
An official source at the foundation said that over 500,000 displaced people across Kurdistan benefited from the assistance.
The foundation said that the aid comprised food parcels, children and women’s kits, blankets, household items, in addition to one million water bottles.
The beneficiaries expressed their happiness for the foundation’s support, lauding the UAE’s distinguished stances towards the needy people and displaced worldwide.
