An investigation into a complaint that Jumeirah schoolgirls where being harassed while walking home has been closed and police say the claims were baseless.
Last week, several Jumeirah schools sent circulars to parents, warning students to beware of a white car roaming the area. After the circular was forwarded to Bur Dubai police, an investigation was launched.
Police said the owner of the car is an expatriate driver who has worked for the same Emirati family for 30 years. They said there was no evidence to support the claim that he harassed anyone.
