ABU DHABI // A jaywalker was seriously injured yesterday afternoon after being hit by a car in Muroor Road.
According to witnesses, the man was crossing the road near Emirates Central Post Office from an undesignated place, despite a nearby pedestrian underpass in front of Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre. He was hit by a car and received serious head injuries, witnesses said.
Paramedics and Abu Dhabi traffic police attended the scene and the man was transferred to hospital. His condition is not known.
