DUBAI // A man grabbed a colleague in their company’s work cafe, threw her on a table, forced himself on top of her and began kissing her, a court was told yesterday.
On another occasion J M, 37, an Emirati, constantly bothered the woman, followed her down an alley and groped her. On a third occasion he groped her again and told her: "You are still young and wanted."
The incidents took place between June 2011 to December 2012. Prosecutors did not say why the woman waited a year before reporting the man to police.
The Criminal Court found him guilty of sexual assault and jailed him for a year.
