Iran sanctions being studied

A national committee is coordinating with government bodies on how to enforce recently-passed sanctions against Iran, according to the UAE's permanent representative to the UN. "We are obliged to apply these sanctions because it is part of the international legal framework," Ahmed al Jarman said yesterday. "There is a national committee now in the UAE dealing with this issue from all the concerned authorities - politically, financially, economically," he said.
