Typhoon Haiyan, one of the most powerful storms on record, hit the Philippines’ eastern seaboard on November 8, leaving a trail of destruction in its path. The country is still struggling to rush urgent aid to survivors. The typhoon killed at least 3,681 people and with 1,186 still missing.
