A photographic exhibition celebrating the first 40 years of the around-the-world Volvo Ocean Race is heading to Abu Dhabi November 20-January 3.
The exhibition – 40 Years:40 Faces – will go on display at the Manarat Al Saadiyat exhibition centre on Saadiyat Island from November 20 to December 10, ahead of the UAE capital's hosting of the Volvo Ocean Race fleet December and January.
Featuring 40 photographs tracing the changes in the race since its launch in 1973, the show will be free and open daily from 9am to 8pm Manarat Al Saadiyat. It will then move to the East Plaza on the Corniche from December 11 to January 3 to coincide with the city’s hosting of the Volvo Ocean Race.
