DUBAI // Participants in the Your Child in Gold campaign by Dubai Municipality will receive a text message in the next week informing them of their winnings.
Each person who participated in the two month weight loss campaign will be rewarded with a gram of gold for every kilogram of weight they lost.
The final list of winners will be announced next week. Dubai Municipality officials have hailed the campaign as a huge success.
More than 18,000 individuals from 112 nationalities qualified, out of the 26,000 who enrolled online at the start of the campaign.
