DUBAI // During its fourth meeting this year, the Higher Committee for Foreign Aid at the Emirates Red Crescent Authority earmarked more than Dh23 million for the implementation of several development programmes during the last quarter of the present year in a number of countries.
The programmes target healthcare, education, social services and provision of water sources in specific areas.
A number of other requests for aid were referred to review, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister paper of The National.
