Pharmacies will not be affected by a recent reduction in medicine prices by a drugs manufacturer, a Ministry of Health official has said.
The price reduction came directly from manufacturer Unipharma, said Dr Amin Al Amiri,a ministry official from its medical practices division.
No pharmacy should lose revenue because of such initiatives and any pharmacy that does should report the issue to the ministry, he told Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister paper of The National.
