DUBAI // The Ministry of Health has held a workshop for improving workplace safety and occupational health services.
World Health Organisation staff conducted the training, which was held to help improve the work environment in the country and keep staff updated on the latest international best practices.
The ministry aims to promote employees’ efficiency and work performance to better implement services, said Dr Hussein Al Rand, assistant undersecretary for centres and health clinics.
The training included presentations on health inspection tools. Recommendations made during the event will be forwarded to the GCC Committee for Career Safety and considered for implementation in the region, the ministry said.
