Dubai Health Authority launches 15 new development programmes

DUBAI // The emirate’s health authority has launched 15 new development programmes in an effort to strengthen the health sector.

The programmes are part of the implementation of the Dubai Health Strategy for the next five years.

Humaid Al Qatami, chairman of the board and director general of DHA, recently held a meeting with senior DHA officials to discuss the development of the health strategy.

He said the aim of the strategy was “to implement a world-class, patient-centric health care model in Dubai that ensures universal basic coverage and easy access to healthcare”.
