DUBAI // Emergency departments at major hospitals will be open as usual during National Day.
Latifa Hospital, Hatta Hospital, Dubai Hospital and Rashid Hospital will function as normal but all specialised clinics and primary healthcare centres will remain closed during the holiday, Dubai Health Authority has announced.
Health centres in Al Barsha and Nad Al Hamar will operate 24 hours on all days, whereas paediatric walk-in clinics in Latifa Hospital and Rashid Hospital will operate as usual during weekends and the public holidays.
The family medicine clinic in Hatta Hospital will operate from 7am until 9pm during the long weekend.
DHA specialist centres, including the Thalassaemia Centre, Dubai Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre, Dubai Diabetes Centre and Dubai Gynaecology and Fertility Centre will be closed.
The authority’s headquarters will remain closed from December 1, with work resuming on December 4.
