The UAE recorded 1,305 Covid-19 cases on Thursday, bringing its total to 163,967.
A further 826 people were given the all clear as the recovery tally rose to 151,870.
One patient died as the death toll in the Emirates moved to 564.
The latest infections were identified following an additional 136,352 daily tests.
More than 16 million tests have been conducted nationwide since the outbreak began.

This crucial funding will also be used to accelerate the progress of a new cohort of staff, consisting of senior physician-scientists and their teams, which include Emiratis serving as trainees and residents.
