During the same reporting period, 11,939 patients have recovered from the virus, equating to 1,705 per day.
Officials are continuing to call on members of the public and businesses to comply with Covid-19 safety measures to help drive down case numbers.

A retail store in a shopping centres was fined due to its employees failing to wear masks.
