ABU DHABI // The construction of a dialysis centre at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City is complete.
The Abu Dhabi General Services company, Musanada, finished the construction and will hand it over to the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, Seha, this week.
The centre cost Dh140 million and was built as part of the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
Dialysis is used to perform a person’s kidney functions when the organs do not function properly. A machine is used to filter and purify a patient’s blood.
