ABU DHABI // Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and New York University Abu Dhabi have agreed to collaborate on research, knowledge sharing, education and training programmes.
The partnership is aimed at sharing expertise in medicine and higher education to improve health care and promote knowledge sharing in the UAE.
As part of the agreement, NYU Abu Dhabi will look to improve its academic offerings in medical and health-related fields, while Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will receive support for the formation of an academic medical centre focused on clinical research and education.
The two institutions “are working together and positively influencing their respective sectors to generate significant social and financial returns, stimulating diversification,” said Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, deputy group chief executive officer of Mubadala.
