ABU DHABI // Women’s health and the wellbeing of new mothers are the focus of the second Bright Start conference at the Rotana Beach Hotel later this month.
The Bright Start Foundation for Maternal and Child Health has lined up a 35-strong panel of experts and speakers from centres including Harvard Medical School, the University of Washington and the University College London for the event from November 16 to 18.
Mothers with toddlers can take part in group learning and workshops, while creative and educational activities such as art and science experiments have been laid on.
A seminar for teachers will offer advice on how they could match their methods with the needs of the child.
