Dubai Health Authority’s Stay Strong diabetes app has had more than 4,000 downloads since its launch on November 1.
Dr Elamin Elamin, endocrinologist at Dubai Hospital said: “Today, smartphone penetration is significant and it provides us with an opportunity to make health information accessible to individuals with diabetes, pre-diabetes and the healthy people who are interested to get information about leading a healthy lifestyle. People have access to this information at their finger tips and they can access it any time convenient to them.”
