Eighty food establishments were either warned or fined during the latest round of public health inspections in Al Dhaid, Sharjah.
The public health department at Al Dhaid Municipality issued 22 warnings and 58 fines after inspecting 709 restaurants, cafes and groceries.
The municipality carried out the unannounced visits to ensure the provision of the highest health standards, it said.
