ABU DHABI // Newly renovated Emirates ID customer centres have been reopened to the public across the country, according to government news agency Wam.
Emirates Identity Authority reopened seven service centres annexed to preventive medicine centres, which were temporarily closed last November.
The new “smart” centres are located in Al Ghubaibah and Al Nasiriya in Sharjah, the ID centres in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, Al Jazeerah Club in Abu Dhabi and Muhaisnah in Dubai.
The new centres can now each deal with 2,500 customers per day after the number of registration lines was increased.
