Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, met with the president of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, on Tuesday as part of an official visit to Latin America.
The meeting, attended by Foreign Minster Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and members of the accompanying delegation, saw the two sides discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of investment, tourism, economy and trade.
Sheikh Mohammed also met with the Brazilian vice president Michel Temer.
Sheikh Mohammed and Mr Temer witnessed a ceremony for signing a joint military cooperation under which the UAE and Brazil will exchange joint expertise and training and activities of joint defence cooperation.
Sheikh Mohammed will next travel to Chile and Argentina.
