UAE progress down to its ‘pursuit of development and sustainability’

The UAE’s progress over the last 45 years is due to the country’s ability to evolve and its steady pursuit of development, sustainability and global peace, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, said.

Sheikh Nahyan made the remarks during a dinner for a business delegation from the US state of Texas, a delegation from the Washington-based Zayed Institute of Paediatric Surgical Innovations (SZIPSI) and a delegation of the Indian cinema industry, reported Wam.

“The UAE is like an Arab tent which combines under its shadow people from different nationalities, races, cultures and beliefs. The UAE is committed to respecting this diversity and understanding the people’s different backgrounds,” he said.
