Sudan’s minister of welfare and social security commended the efforts of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, to empower Emirati women.
Mashaer Abdallah also lauded the role of the UAE’s leadership, enabling women to assume important positions in various fields. She made the comments during a meeting with Noura Al Suwaidi, director of the union, Wam, the state news agency, reported. Sheikha Fatima is also Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
