Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Monday received India’s defence minister, Manohar Parrikar.
Sheikh Mohammed and Mr Parrikar discussed bilateral relations and reviewed defence and military ties, state news agency Wam reported.
Sheikh Mohammed and the Indian minister also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
Minister of State for Defence Affairs Mohammed Al Bowardi, Lt Gen Hamad Al Romaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Indian Ambassador T P Seetharam were also present.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met Mr Parrikar separately.
