Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid pays condolences to family of Dubai philanthropist

DUBAI // Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, paid condolences to the family of Mohammed Abdullah Al Qaz.

Sheikh Mohammed visited on Wednesday the mourning majlis for Al Qaz – a prominent political and business figure and friend of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed, former Ruler of Dubai – in the emirate’s Al Hamriya district.

Al Qaz was also known for philanthropic work.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, director-general of protocol and hospitality in the emirate, accompanied Sheikh Mohammed on the visit.

Sheikh Mohammed offered heartfelt condolences to Al Qaz’s children and prayed to Allah to rest his soul in eternal peace, according to Wam, the state news agency.
