Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed meets Lebanese Prime Minister

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri in the UAE capital on Monday.

The two leaders discussed ways to boost ties between the nations during talks at Al Bahar Palace.

Mr Hariri arrived in Abu Dhabi on Sunday for a two-day tour, which included the UAE-Lebanon Investment Forum.

Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to bolstering its friendship with its Middle East neighbour and helping to strengthen its security and stability.

Mr Hariri expressed his thanks to the UAE for its continuing support during challenging times.

The talks between Sheikh Mohamed and Mr Hariri were attended by senior figures including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, and Minister of Tolerance, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak.
