Sheikh gives Dh2.5m to Fujairah Football Club
A delighted Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah, has rewarded Fujairah Football Club’s qualification for next year’s Arabian Gulf League with a donation of Dh2.5 million.
“I am happy with what you have achieved and I am waiting for more and on my turn, I thank everyone who contributed to this achievement,” Sheikh Hamad told the team. “I advise you to have good morals, and your main goal is to present a good image of your emirate and homeland.”
The meeting took place on Tuesday in Sheikh Hamad’s Al Rumailah Palace.
The chairman, members of the board, players and the club’s technical and administrative staff were present, reported the state news agency Wam.
“On behalf of the club, I congratulate and thank Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, for their support to the club,” said Mohammed Al Dhanhani, the chairman of the board of Fujairah FC.
