ABU DHABI // Since the start of the year 2,634 houses and 1,802 plots of land have been distributed to Emiratis by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.
The action was taken upon directives from UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed and orders from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
“A comprehensive study was made on the development of residential projects on the basis,” said Said Badr Al Qubaisi, director general of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.
“The study was conducted based on certain requirements and population density so as to provide integrated educational, health and commercial facilities.”
The housing and plots of land are located across Abu Dhabi city, Al Gharbia and Al Ain.
