Ministry of Interior officials met a UK delegation to discuss ways to expand coordination between the UAE and UK, as well as how to exchange expertise in policing and security.
Gen Saif Al Sha’far, ministry undersecretary, met the UK officials led by Simon Everest, director of business strategy at the UK Trade & Investment Defence and Security Organisation, said the state news agency, Wam.
UAE officials from the ministry’s central operations, public relations and international cooperation sectors also attended.
Also present was an official from the British embassy in the UAE and Richard Freeman, senior police and security adviser from the UK Trade & Investment Defence and Security Organisation.
