Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has issued a resolution on surveys and research organisations in the emirate.
It seeks to ensure that studies are conducted by qualified entities according to international scientific standards.
The resolution also aims to protect the personal information of respondents.
It is forbidden to conduct a survey on behalf of others in Dubai unless the person has licensing.
Findings should not be used to cause offence to the UAE or its national achievements.
